Highlights

"If we do not do what is right, we will feel the consequences.” Henrik Skov Andersen, CEO at Ibsen Photonics talked at our last sustainability meeting for the year and showed what they have been doing and what will happen during next years. His takeaway message was: Photonics is essentially a low power consuming, green technology, with potential to have a large environmental impact. Keep believing we can make a difference!

Estefania Cervantes, Global Sustainability Manager at Edmund Optics then talked about how younger buyers have a higher requirement for sustainable products and they might be willing to pay more for it. Having a sustainability team in place opens business opportunities, makes business more resilient, compliant and reduces cost.
